As the spread of COVID-19 continues to impact communities globally, professional boxers are made to fight for their livelihood without the benefit of a prize. In response, Just Boxing Foundation has launched a new initiative to provide support and relief to boxers impacted by event cancellations in Los Angeles County, California.
Core to this initiative is the Pandemic Protection & Relief Grant (PPRG), which the foundation created to provide financial aid to professional boxers who have suffered a loss of income due to the spread of COVID-19. The first round of grants will target combatants who were scheduled to compete at live events within Los Angeles County in the months of March, April, or May of 2020.
Boxers applying for the PPRG should review the Grant Guidelines and complete the Grant Application provided below. Completed applications and supporting documentation can be emailed to sean@justboxing.org
